About us

jezBased in the lush Gascoyne region of Western Australia, Outback Coast Safaris is a friendly, family run business. Owner (and tour guide) Jeremy "Jez" Forbes gained many of his outback survival skills during a stint as a young lad in the army. During this time he skippered landing craft around the coast of Australia and developed advanced medical, 4WD training and leadership skills. After leaving the army Jez discovered his passion for the tourism industry, spending six years running overland tours throughout Africa and the Middle East. After returning to Australia, Jez spent several years guiding tours throughout Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Now based in his home state of WA, Jez has established Outback Coast Safaris to share his love of the outback with visitors to the Coral Coast region.
